Horticultural Society: Talk by Mark Read. 1930 St Nicholas Primary School.

This  promises to be a fascinating talk by local resident, James Kerr, who actually got to the summit and it will be illustrated by many photos taken on the climb.

After the talk, food and drinks will be available giving an opportunity to catch up with friends or, if you are new to the village, to make new acquaintances – we are a very friendly crowd and new faces will be welcomed!

There is no entry fee and booking is not essential!  However, it would help the catering team if you could send a brief response to newsupwey@yahoo.co.uk so that we have some idea of numbers.

All around the village. This event funds the magnificent fireworks we fire off every November on Bonfire Night! All sorts of gardens, big, small, magnificently landscaped to tumbling cottage gardens. We have it all. And superb homemade cakes to go with tea as well, when you need to rest your weary feet. We look forward to seeing you.
