2019’s  curry and Christmas quiz was on Friday 6 December in the Old School Village Hall.

Due to a diary error (not ours!) the curry suppliers didn’t arrive. Emissaries were dispatched and, astonishingly, the local takeaway (Nice ‘n Spicey in Broadwey) produced 67 curries, including vegetarion options!

The quiz was great fun, and the winning team didn’t gloat at all.

Don’t miss Upwey’s own Party in the Park. (Well, the car park, anyway.)

On 24 August there’ll be a great party in the Church Car Park in Church St, with music, a bar, and a prize raffle.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome, members and non-members. Bring your own food. Tables and chairs will be provided but with limited supply and heavy demand it’s essential to ring to book your places:
