Upwey has two pubs, The Old Ship and The Royal Standard.

At the north-western end of the village you will find the Wishing Well Tearooms and Water Gardens.

Island Garden Nursery and Cafe can be found along Church Street.

Tesco Express is located at 680 Dorchester Road, DT3 5LD. 

Just over the border in Broadwey is the Broadwey Village Stores. It’s at 608 Dorchester Rd,
DT3 5LH just south of the junction with Old Station Road.

There are 2 local churches, St Laurence Church in Upwey and St Nicholas Church in Broadwey.

Upwey Old School Hall is a community venue.

The Upwey and Broadwey Memorial Hall is a community hall located just off the Dorchester Road in Upwey.

There are many houses and cottages that can be rented for holidays, and some bed and breakfast places. We don’t have space for them all here and it would be unfair to make recommendations, so please use travel and holiday rental sites to find what best suits you.

Upwey is located just off the A354 which leads into Weymouth.
